A family of three, in McLean, VA, needs to hire an experienced Part-Time Housekeeper/Cook to support the overall care, organization, and upkeep of their home. Responsibilities include: general and deep cleaning, routine household upkeep, maintaining organized and tidy spaces, laundry as needed, light household errands such as grocery shopping or trips to the dry cleaner, and assisting with simple meal preparation and preparing family dinner approximately one to two evenings per week. The family has an elementary-age child and a large, friendly dog, and someone who is comfortable working in a home with both is a must. Someone who would also be able to house- or pet-sit when the family is away would be wonderful! The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently. The preferred schedule is two non-consecutive days per week, ideally Tuesday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday, with an 11am start time, though the family has some flexibility for the right person. They can guarantee approximately 16–20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours depending on the candidate and household needs. Salary range: $40–50/hr. Immediate start.
