AH lives in Brooklyn and is seeking a full-time live-out Nanny position for a family in Manhattan or Brooklyn. She is an empathetic, trustworthy, and patient individual who has been a babysitter/nanny for over 3 years and an educator for 5 years. She has experience teaching children of all ages from k-12 and has childcare experiences with ages 3-8. Bilingual in Spanish and English, she has the ability to teach children a second language. She has worked in two schools as an ENL teacher teaching English to children. While she has loved her career as a teacher, she would like to work inside a private home where she can use her education and teaching skills on a more intimate level with children. She has always been an advocate for education and strives to help and teach children to learn and grow.
AH is a very organized and thoughtful person who appreciates open communication with the parents. She is a very energetic person who loves to be hands-on with activities that your children love. Being around families and being able to help them, and their children is a real honor and she feels is her life’s work. She would love to work for a family that values education inside of the household. She creates fun developmentally savvy games and activities for the children, enjoys bringing children to museums, and always encourages outdoor play.
Along with her childcare skills, being a teacher she is very smart, savvy, and organized and can lend a hand in Family Assistant responsibilities if ever needed. She drives, swims, can travel to the Hamptons, domestically or internationally when needed, and is Covid vaccinated.
