This is an educated, mature and energetic nanny who has 10+ years of experience working with children. She holds a college degree from University of Oregon and has cared for children ages newborn to young adolescents. Throughout her life, she always found herself surrounded by children; she babysat, coached and worked as a teacher in the infant/toddler room at her church. After college she had an opportunity to work as a full time Nanny abroad in Australia. She also worked as a Program leader in Fiji, leading and teaching students. In 2017, she began her professional career as a full time Nanny caring for three school aged children in Westport CT. She enjoys open communication with parents and working as a team with other nannies to raise happy and healthy children. With that being said, she also leads independently and organizes activities designed to promote intellectual, emotional, physical and social development through arts and crafts, songs, imagination games, dramatic play and reading.
When I met with her I was blown away by her maturity and passion for childcare. Her current position has developed into a family assistant role, and with a heavy heart she has decided to search for a new position that revolves more around the care of children, as that is where her true passion lies. She values the relationships and loyalty she has built and maintained with her employers and will be assisting them until they find a replacement nanny. She should be available mid-April.
She is actively interviewing for full time, long term positions. She drives, swims, tutors, travels domestic and international, can sleep in when needed and can provide a flexible work schedule.
