She is seeking a long-term full-time nanny position with a great family. She comes with excellent references as she has consistently worked with children in a variety of capacities for over 10 years. In that time she obtained a degree in Physical Education/Health Education with a concentration in Adapted Physical Education. This major was chosen to compliment her immense passion for working with children/youth, with or without disabilities, and sport/human development. With that being said she has a very strong understanding of developmentally appropriate activities and progressions. When she works with children, safety is her utmost concern and she diligently keeps a close eye on children when in the home or out in public settings. She has a strong knowledge of good nutritional choices and carefully prepares meals that are healthy for children and enjoyable for them to eat. She has strong communication skills and is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish. She is very flexible when it comes to schedule changes and extremely creative when it comes to creating activities to occupy time. When she helps children with their homework she likes to make it a fun and reinforcing learning experience for them. With her experience working with individuals with disabilities and individuals in crises, she has mastered the ability to stay calm and collected in heightened situations. Furthermore, she is a safe driver and strong swimmer. She would truly be an asset in any home!
