This is an energetic, engaging nanny living in Center City, Philadelphia. She has experience carding for children starting at age 3 months and up.
She was raised in a suburb just outside of Seattle, Washington, where she lived until she graduated with her Master’s Degree in Summer, 2018. Her love for children and their families stems from her own close-knit upbringing, where she was the middle of three girls, each very close in age. An active family, they spent their childhood biking, hiking, and swimming in the Pacific Northwest, and some of her fondest memories were spent outdoors camping, on the trails, or out in the water. She loves connecting with nature, and bringing children closer to the outdoors is a passion of hers. Before she moved to Philadelphia, she was working as a counselor and coordinator for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. In this role she taught in multiples classrooms from preschool to elementary and middle-grade-levels. Some of her favorite field trips included days at the pool, developing the community garden, and enjoying the city’s many parks—just a few of the activities she’d love to continue as your nanny!
Her personal hobbies include drawing and painting, writing, reading, cooking, baking, and practicing yoga. She loves keeping busy, and hopes to find an active family that enjoys the same!
When she first moved to Philadelphia, she was working as a freelance writer. And while she loved the opportunity, she ultimately realized that she missed connecting with children and their families. Nannying has been such an integral part of her life, she has developed strong bonds with the children she’s cared for. She looks forward to building her next lasting relationship with a child and their family and looks forward to meeting you
