M holds a Bachelors in Speech-Language Pathology and Child Development with many hours of training and clinics on child development, language acquisition, food sensitivity, and safety. M enjoys being a positive role model, aiding in children’s self-esteem, education, and helping them grow into successful human beings. Ever since M was young, she has been working with children, holding 8 plus years of experience in various roles ranging from a Nanny, Babysitter, Daycare Teacher, Camp counselor, Educator, and Parent-baby nursing assistant. She is experienced with children ages newborn to adolescents, including experience working with children with medical needs including ADD, ADHD, autism, behavioral issues, diabetes, and down-syndrome. M is CPR, first aid, CNA, and water safety certified. She has received training in infant and child choking, sleep training, soothing techniques and is capable of responding to emergencies promptly.
M has experience in various educational and discipline models such a Montessori, RIE, and gentle discipline. She is comfortable creating schedules, presenting effective communication to families, and working as a full charge Nanny or as a teammate to additional Nannies and Parents. She is described as a hardworking, warm, compassionate individual who is a good communicator and has respectable morals and values. In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, traveling, and anything on the water such as boating or swimming. M believes that trusting someone with their children is one of the hardest things they can do, and she ensures quality care as the child’s safety and happiness are her main priority.
M is seeking a full-time live in position (with private housing; she does have a small dog she would bring). She offers full flexibility with her schedule, she can travel domestic and international for great lengths of time, drives, swims, is a good cook, tech-savvy, and is Covid Vaccinated. She is currently living in Louisiana but is comfortable relocating anywhere in the States and is looking to make a long-term commitment to a family in need.
