Responsibilities include: all aspects of daily & nightly childcare (when on duty), including feeding, diapering, monitoring developmental milestones, engaging in age-appropriate activities, sterilizing toys & bottles, assisting with child-related housekeeping & laundry, traveling with the family, and evolving as the children grow and develop. Must be ok working in home with small friendly dogs and be able to work as a team. The ideal candidate will have a medical background (RN, CNA, EMT, etc.) with additional related certifications (NCS, doula, etc.) and professional development is encouraged. Experience with multiples and/or siblings close in age is highly preferred. Applicants must have 10+ years of professional experience, expert knowledge of infant care & relevant developmental milestones, have a valid license & passport and be up to date on all major vaccines (including Tdap, MMR, Flu, and Covid), and be CPR/ First Aid certified.    Good communication skills and discretion are paramount. The position will be living in when working- bedroom offered. Exact schedule will be determined upon arrival of the first baby and is subject to change, as family finds their childcare rhythm but care will be shared between multiple providers to ensure adequate time off. The family is flexible to relocate the right person and can offer separate housing nearby for the nannies to share if they need local accommodations when not on duty. Salary range: $120-180K with benefits offered. First baby is not due until the end of February but family would like nanny to be ready to start 2/1/25, in order to properly prepare for bringing first baby home.

The family’s ideal applicant will be experienced (or familiar) with Montessori philosophy. Nanny will be responsible for planning activities (including researching & booking local classes), engaging in age-appropriate play, monitoring milestones, diapering, bathing, bottle-feeding, sterilizing bottles & toys, maintaining sleep & feeding schedules, and traveling with the family, primarily between their main residences in South Florida and Los Angeles, CA. Other regular annual travel includes 3-6 weeks of the summer in Europe and end of year holiday ski vacations among others.  They also have a home in NYC and hope to spend more time there throughout the year as well.  Applicants must have experience caring for children of a similar age and helping them transition through their developmental stages as they age. Applicants should also have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, must swim, drive, and have a valid passport. The family also requires that CDC vaccines other than Covid (as optional) be up to date. This is a fully staffed home and the Nanny must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with others, and take direction or work independently, when appropriate. There is a small dog in the home, though no care is required. Main residence is in Florida and when there, family is happy to provide accommodations for applicants who need, though accommodations will be provided at all additional residences. The standardized schedule is two weeks on/ two weeks off, typically working 10-12+ hours a day. Salary range: 130-180K depending on experience, fully paid employee medical, dental and vision benefits, and a 401K option with match and vesting schedule.
