A casual Manhattan residence is seeking an experienced full-time Private Chef. This is primarily a lunch and dinner schedule Monday-Friday — though the Chef will leave prepped meals for the couple to enjoy during weekends. Lunches are usually served by 1:00PM. Dinner is plated and served generally around 7:30PM/8:00PM for the couple. There is no formal staff meal but should be extra food in the fridge for the staff. Favorite cuisines include healthy Italian, Farm-to-Table, and classic French though the Chef must be able to accommodate a variety of preferences and have experience following dietary restrictions. The couple has occasional luncheons but does not entertain on a frequent basis. The Chef will be responsible for all kitchen related duties but must also be flexible for additional miscellaneous household tasks that arise (e.g. grabbing the phone, letting out a dog, or changing a lightbulb). Those with a low-key disposition, the utmost discretion, and a friendly though not familiar personality are best suited for this role. Qualified candidates will possess requisite experience with superb professional references.
