A busy professional couple is seeking an experienced Estate Manager (EM) to manage three properties in the Pittsburgh area. The EM will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, managing staff, as well as acting as the point person for remodeling, construction, private event and other special projects. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems are a must and repair skills are a big plus. Candidates will have experience creating household manuals, establishing maintenance schedules, and administering a private estate and staff. A strong knowledge of how to source and vet vendors, contractors, and staff as well as how to protect the security and privacy of the employers and their assets is a must. The EM will also assist in overseeing the grounds including a farm. While this is a managerial role, the EM will be a hands-on, team player who leads by example. Auxiliary duties might include picking up a family member at an airport, feeding a pet, or greeting a guest.
This is a new position and first time Estate Manager hire for the family. Qualifications:
-A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience managing private estates
-Ability to work with little direction Self-motivated
-Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
-Strong trouble shooting skills (identify & prevent)

The schedule is generally Monday through Friday with flexibility for longer or weekend hours as required. Candidates invited to interview will be required to sign an NDA.
