This is a temporary four month position with the possibility of becoming a permanent opportunity. A lovely Long Island employer is seeking an experienced Part-Time Private Chef to prepare one week’s worth of meals over the course of three days. The Chef will preferably work a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule though there is some flexibility on days for the right candidate. A strong understanding of fine dining, Kosher cooking, and nutrition is necessary for success in this role. The Chef will plan, provision, prepare, pack, and label all meals (lunches and dinners) and will be responsible for ensuring expired foods are removed from the fridge and pantry. Simple breakfast items may be occasionally requested.
