A busy principal, in Pacific Palisades, CA., needs to hire an experienced and high functioning Executive Personal Assistant/ House Manager to run their day-to-day personal, household, and business needs. This is a hybrid role, with the ability to do much of the work outside of the home/ remotely but applicants are required to live within a reasonable commute, as there is a regular need for a boots-on-the-ground presence. Responsibilities include acting as a general gatekeeper & liaising between the principal, colleagues, & contractors, vendors, etc., attend meetings & take notes/ minutes (as needed), draft communications, aid in the execution of projects, perform general admin duties, research & plan for the principal’s varied areas of personal & professional interest, coordinate travel, regular household walkthroughs to ensure things are in order, running errands, handling household invoices, hiring additional household employees & contractors, managing a household calendar, planning travel & booking transportation, research, mail & package management, and tackling any special ad hoc tasks/ projects, as needed. The right fit will be a strong & independent person, who can take initiative, anticipate the principal’s needs, and possess a friendly and “no worries” attitude. It is imperative this hire be able to operate with very little oversight but take direction as needed.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication & interpersonal skills, have good asthenic sensibility, understand boundaries & operate with complete discretion. Principal values their privacy & peace and applicants must understand how to operate, within the home, with as little disruption as possible. Must be familiar with various social media outlets and be tech savvy with knowledge of common applications & operating systems, with strong critical thinking skills, have high standards & a strong attention to detail, and able to troubleshoot any issues. Driving is required and candidates must have their own reliable transportation. The anticipated schedule is Monday through Friday, typically 40 hours a week, mostly within traditional business hours. Flexibility is required but the principal is not looking for someone to be on call 24/7 and encourages employee to take needed breaks during the workday, at their own discretion. Seeking a highly experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a large New York City residence. The Property Manager will ensure the smooth operation of systems, services, and staff and act as the main point of contact for all related needs.  They will be responsible for understanding and clearly communicating the family’s preferences, goals, and expectations to staff and other team members.  A high level of organization is required to perform all duties.  The Property Manager (PM) will create and update maintenance schedules, household manuals, protocols, and policies.  They will perform HR functions, manage household calendars, coordinate vendors, negotiate and review contracts, track expenses, manage detailed inventories (e.g. wine, art, and collectibles), and oversee special projects.
