A New Jersey family needs to hire a live-in or live-out nanny to help care for a toddler and one on the way. This individual will help keep a stay-at-home mom on track around the house. The day to day requirements change — sometimes Mom goes into the city and needs child care 12 hours while other days she only needs assistance with grocery shopping, meal prep and walking two very sweet dogs. Must be first and foremost safe and loving with children and also be tidy and well groomed. Must be willing to get an annual flu shot. The family is to find someone who will become a part of family but at the same time know when to give the family their privacy. Mom loves to cook and often does, but ideally the candidate would be enthusiastic about meal prep either for the parents or for the baby. Must be comfortable with infants as well as toddlers. Must be able to travel domestically/internationally, be highly organized, be willing to pack for the son, have a clean driving record, be willing to grocery shop, run errands, and have knowledge of basic technology (how to email/text/send pics). Seeking candidates who have an understanding of baby and toddler development and can offer advice with reaching milestones Candidates need to be comfortable feeding them and taking them for a daily walk down the block. Swimming is a must as the family spends time at the beach and around pools. Highly competitive salary.
