A busy Greenwich based family is seeking an experienced Estate Manager to oversee the smooth operation of their 4 properties. The position is based in Greenwich though requires occasional travel to secondary properties pre and post season(s). Primary duties involve the administration, operation, maintenance, and management of the household and its staff, vendors, and on-going projects. Qualified candidates will have experience creating household manuals, conducting home inspections, working with SmartHome technology, reviewing contracts, providing financial oversight, and maintaining accurate records and insurances. Knowledge of art and antique care is a must. This is a hands-on position where staff works as a team to meet the demands of the residence and needs of the family. While the Estate Manager will not have cleaning responsibilities, they may be asked to drive a child to an afterschool appointment or to take a family pet to the vet. This position reports to and works closely with the lady of the house and works closely with the family’s Executive/Personal Assistant. The schedule is generally Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 6:00PM with flexibility to work late and on the weekends as necessary.
